These beautiful 3” plants love humidity — ideally 68% or higher. To help them arrive happy and healthy, we carefully pack each plant to lock in moisture during transit. All of our plants are grown in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix or sphagnum moss, and raised under medium indirect light to keep them thriving.

• A little yellowing or leaf stress after the trip is completely normal — plants can be dramatic travelers! This isn’t covered under the guarantee, but it typically resolves as your plant settles in.
• We highly recommend choosing overnight shipping at checkout to give your plant the best, safest journey and to qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee.
• Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer live arrival coverage on orders shipped with other methods.

This was my first Green Room Exotics order, but it won't be my last. I ordered a variety of 3" starter plants, plugs, and tissue culture to gain some experience with Alocasia. I was somewhat concerned because a serious heatwave settled in after my order was placed with temps in the upper 90's. My box was shipped and I received my order about 2 weeks after placing it. I tentatively opened the box and started unwrapping my plants, expecting the worst. To my surprise, every plant was exceptionally well wrapped and in perfect condition. Not a single wilted leaf. I followed the directions in the box and what I had researched online. I gradually acclimated the plants with grow lights and a humidity box. One week later all plants, including the tissue culture, are outside (hot, humid Florida) and popping fresh growth. The color and variegation of the plants is excellent. I'm planning on making another order in a few weeks after the temperature comes down a bit and get some of my dream list plants. Oh, and I got a free tissue culture with my order!
